About Sara

I'm an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) who seeks to understand clients as whole individuals with histories, relationships, biological processes, beliefs, and hopes for their future. I work in collaboration with my clients to determine the best approaches to meet their individualized goals. I specialize in individual counseling with children, teens, and adults.

Approaching therapy through a trauma-informed lens, I utilize talk therapy in conjunction with creative modalities such as music, sand tray, movement, writing, and art to assist clients in becoming aware of and processing their thoughts, feelings, and past experiences. Additionally, with children, I include imaginative and game play techniques to engage and motivate children toward growth and skill development.

By walking with my clients in a safe therapeutic relationship and providing them with the knowledge and resources specific to their needs, I believe change and growth are attainable.
