Our Services for Adults

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling provides a safe space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges while gaining tools for personal growth and positive change.

  • Individual counseling helps with issues like depression, anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, and life transitions. Our goal is to equip you with tools for self-awareness, personal growth, and healthier relationships. Through counseling and The Little Profile personality profile, we help you better understand yourself and those around you for a more fulfilling life.

Relationship Counseling

Relationship counseling helps couples strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and create a deeper emotional connection, whether dating, engaged, married, or facing challenges.

  • Healthy relationships require understanding, communication, and balance. Whether you're struggling with conflict, rebuilding trust, or preparing for marriage, counseling provides guidance to strengthen your connection. Premarital counseling helps couples build a strong foundation by exploring goals, communication styles, and expectations for their future together. Through personalized sessions, we equip you with tools to foster a fulfilling, lasting partnership.

Family Counseling

Family counseling helps improve communication, strengthen relationships, and create a healthier, more supportive home environment.

  • Family challenges can affect everyone, leading to tension, misunderstandings, and disconnection. Counseling provides a safe space where each member feels heard and supported while working toward healthier communication and stronger bonds. Whether navigating parent-child conflicts, blended family dynamics, or sibling struggles, we help families set boundaries, understand each other better, and build lasting connections. Through assessments and personalized guidance, we empower families to grow together with renewed hope and understanding.

Telehealth Counseling

Telehealth counseling offers a convenient and secure way to connect with your therapist through online video sessions.

  • With telehealth counseling, you can receive the same professional support as an in-person session from the comfort of your home or office. Using a secure, encrypted platform, we ensure your privacy while making therapy more accessible and flexible. Most insurance plans cover telehealth services, and sessions can be conducted via phone, tablet, or laptop. Contact us to learn more about how virtual counseling can fit into your life.

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Testing

We offer ADHD testing to help you better understand attention-related challenges.

  • ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition that can affect focus, organization, impulse control, and daily functioning. Testing typically includes a clinical interview, standardized assessments, and a review of your symptoms and history to give you a clear picture of what’s going on.

If you have any questions about the testing process or pricing, ask your therapist or give our office a call—we’re here to help!

Substance Abuse Professionals (SAP)

We offer evaluations with a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) to help individuals safely and effectively navigate the DOT return-to-duty process.

  • SAP evaluations include a thorough clinical interview, a review of your substance use history, and a personalized recommendation plan to support compliance and long-term well-being.

The Department of Transportation (DOT) requires SAP involvement only when an employee has violated drug and alcohol regulations under 49 CFR Part 40, such as failing a DOT drug or alcohol test.

Specialties

We offer a variety of specialties. Below are a few of them:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based psychotherapy approach designed to help individuals heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences. Through guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps the brain process and reframe distressing life events, reducing their emotional impact. This therapy is especially effective for treating PTSD, anxiety, phobias, and other trauma-related issues. EMDR allows clients to process difficult experiences safely and promotes long-lasting emotional healing.

Check out our therapists who specialize in EMDR:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a goal-oriented, evidence-based approach that helps individuals understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By identifying unhelpful patterns and learning practical coping skills, CBT empowers people to manage challenges more effectively and create lasting positive change.

  • Sand Tray Therapy is a powerful, expressive therapeutic approach that allows individuals to create scenes in a sandbox using miniature figures and objects. This nonverbal, symbolic method helps children, adolescents, and adults explore deep emotions, resolve internal conflicts, and gain insight into their experiences. Guided by a trained therapist, clients use the sand tray to represent their inner world, often revealing thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to express through words. Sand Tray Therapy is especially effective for trauma, grief, anxiety, and other emotional or developmental challenges.

  • OCD creates a cycle where looping, intrusive thoughts spark anxiety, and compulsions only offer temporary relief.

At Eagle, we offer approached like CBT, ACT, and ERP, where you’ll learn what fuels this cycle and how to gently step out of it. Together, we can work on changing unhelpful thinking patterns, making space for difficult feelings, and gradually facing fears in a safe and supported way. These evidence based  methods help build confidence, reduce anxiety, and reconnect you with the life you want to live.

  • Prolonged Exposure (PE) is a structured, evidence‑based therapy that helps people reduce PTSD and trauma‑related symptoms by safely and gradually facing trauma memories and avoided situations instead of avoiding them.

    How PE works:

    • Imaginal exposure — You repeatedly recount the traumatic memory in session, aloud, in a supported way so emotions and memories can be processed and lose intensity.

    • In vivo exposure — You gradually approach real‑world places, people, or activities you have been avoiding because they remind you of the trauma.

    • Processing — After exposures we briefly review what happened and how it affected you to shift unhelpful beliefs about safety, control, and self.

    What to expect:

    • Typical length — Commonly 8–15 weekly sessions

    • Homework — Regular, brief between‑session tasks like listening to recorded imaginal exposure, writing assignments or completing in vivo practice. Homework is essential to progress.

    • Emotional course — Symptoms often increase temporarily when starting exposures before they decrease. This is expected and monitored closely.

    Who can benefit:

    • People with PTSD or significant trauma‑related distress who can engage in focused therapy and complete homework.

    • PE is effective for single‑event or repeated trauma in adults and adolescents
